INGREDIENTS

  • 1 CUP OF RAW NUTS
  • 4 CUPS OF FILTERED WATER PLUS EXTRA FOR SOAKING NUTS

INSTRUCTIONS

BEFORE YOU GO TO BED PUT SOME NUTS IN FILTERED WATER AND SOAK 1 CUP OF RAW NUTS OVERNIGHT.  THE NEXT DAY THE NUTS WILL HAVE SWELLED.

PLACE SOAKED NUTS* IN THE BLENDER ALONG WITH WATER AND SIMPLY BLEND ON A HIGH SETTING UNTIL THE NUTS ARE COMPLETELY PULVERIZED.  *TO AVOID A BITTER TASTE, PEEL BACK SKIN IF YOU ARE USING NUTS SUCH AS ALMONDS BEFORE BLENDING.

OVER A BOWL POUR THE MIXTURE INTO A NUT MILK BAG

*IF YOU ARE USING CASHEWS YOU WILL NOT NEED A NUT BAG SO YOU CAN DIRECTLY DRINK THE MILK!  IT WILL BE VERY HEAVY, CREAMY, AND DELICIOUS!

SQUEEZE THE MILK OUT OF THE NUTS AS HARD AS YOU CAN! IF YOU’VE DRAINED NUTS BEFORE, YOU KNOW THIS COULD BE QUITE A TASK BUT WITH A STRONG GRIP YOU CAN GET THE JOB DONE RIGHT.
